How to cut stainless steel sheet

Two common methods for cutting stainless steel sheet are shear cutting and laser cutting.

Shearing is used for cutting flat sheet and plate, most often straight side rectangles and squares, although other straight side shapes can be produced. The benefits to this method include faster cutting cycles than alternatives like flame cutting, as well as cleaner edges when compared to burning.
